About our hostel... Clean and quiet Il Pianigiano is in the middle of the countryside, but still only a ten minute walk from the centre of Certaldo, a town right in the middle of Tuscany, the ideal starting point for tours to Florence, Siena, Pisa and other places. This is a great place to get a good sleep at night and relax during the day in our garden or in the front yard. There is also a dining room where you can enjoy your meals and chat with your friends and even make new ones. Every room has its own bathroom, air conditioning and tv set. All rooms are cleaned daily by our professional full time staff. Linens are provided and towels are available at no cost. You can enjoy a good range of facilities including the usual kitchen, free maps, tours to wine shops and olive oil producers in the area. Since this is a family owned business the manager lives on site and you can check in at any time of the day, although it is a good idea to phone ahead if you're arriving late. There's no curfew or lockout, you will have your own key to let you in any time you want. |
