About our hostel... The hostel occupies the whole 1st floor of a charming Wilhelminian building. Our rooms are very individually designed and have lots of nice details. We are close to a tram stop, but we are the only hostel in Leipzig that is not bothered by traffic noise, because we are located in a small side street. We try to be not boring -- but we are not a noisy party hostel :) Facilities...

Our hostel is in the southern district of Connewitz - close to a forest and a big lake area. Nature and alternative culture are both very close to our house. The center of Leipzig is very close -- 12 minutes by tram or bicycle -- and the Battle of Nations monument is nearby. How to get there... From the main station take tram number 11 in direction MARKLEEBERG OST and get off at 'Hildebrandtstrasse'. After you leave the tram turn right - when you see a pizza place you are at the beginning of our street, now follow 'Ecksteinstrasse' till you find number 31, where we are waiting for you :) By car: From the south leave motorway A38 on 'Leipzig Süd', follow B2 highway untill you see a junction with a stone lion (the symbol of leipzig :) and signs like 'Markleeberg West', 'Connewitz' or 'Wildpark'. This is where you leave B2 highway. Turn right into 'Wolfgang Heinze Strasse' and after only 15 meters right again at the next crossing into 'Meusdorfer Strasse'. Turn right at the next crossing into 'Biedermann-Strasse' and next left is 'Ecksteinstrasse' and the 'Pink Bandit Hostel'. Prices... 11 euro/night in 6-bed dorm (13 euros on Fri-Sat) |
