About our hostel... Our newly built hostel is located in the countryside just above Bodbe Monastery, resting place of St. Nino, bringer of Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Our hilltop location has beautiful views to a 7th century church and pastoral scenes one way, and towards the Great Caucasus range 50km to the north. The scenic refurbished hilltown of Signaghi is just 3 km from the hostel, and is home to many cafes (even a great Mexican), shops, and home to Zedashi, a Georgian song and dance troupe. Locally produced wine is a special treat, made in large, underground amphoras, or KVEVRIs. The surrounding country is filled with natural wonders; there are 2 national parks, and the spectacular Davit Garedja cave monastery complex, all within 1.5 hours drive. We are small, (only 12 beds) and aim for a personal experience with the traveler. The local folks are very friendly and wish to show their hospitality, and we will be happy to help you experience the quiet and age-old traditions that make our location so nice. Our aim is to be a 21st century destination, an oasis that is laid back and welcoming to all who want to explore off the beaten path. Facilities...
